Bought this last year for the beach. Four people can sit under it comfortably also with their gear by them (coolers & bags). Wish it would come with side panels though but I’m sure the price goes up then. Nice beach breezes and life is good. Unfortunately the UV protection is not so great.When a breeze turns into wind this canopy will bend & buckle & if not anchored it will fly away. We have also been caught in the rain with it and this is canopy is not meant for the rain. But you never know when nature will catch you off guard! Even though this is not a sturdy canopy I was surprised how well it did hold up. So the damage from rain and wind a year later, I’m due for another canopy. It is convenient and easy to set up. Under PERFECT conditions (no weather surprises) this should hold up just fine. If mother nature catches you off guard, your canopy will be turned into junk within minutes.

This is not heavy duty. But it is NOT heavy. I choose this for my expedition camping gear– Where weight is a concern. This fits in with my efforts to lighten up my load. So it works good for me. It is designed to be used in low or no wind. But shade is shade, and I like this canopy for my use.

As pop up tents go I know they are only intended for occasional use and not to be kept up. However this one is not incredibly strong. I have bought the same types before that were stronger but did cost more. Price was very good but best used to keep sun off on a calm day. Probably will not hold up well in rain or wind.

Inexpensive. Light weight. Easy to put up. I can’t argue with any of the claims. Really only works well when the sun is directly overhead. You’ll need a larger unit to get the experience you’re looking for. That’s why I only give it four stars. I will say it is extremely easy to put up.

Put this over 10×10 daycare sandbox. Looks great, Set low keeps shaded all day. Seems durable. Love it! Have tried other canopy’s that didn’t last 2 weeks. The sturdy square legs are a big plus. The white pole type canopy’s were a nightmare. Best buy ever!

I am using it as additional covered area for large garden tools. Pros -stands up to wind, very easy to put up – one person can do it, two people would be better; carrying bag is a plus- especially if you have a dog who is impatient and decides to unpack the shipping box. He ripped the box, the carrying case and then got tired which saved the canopy from getting damaged 😉 It should be good for short trips to the beach, market sales, etc. and you have to fold it after the use. Do not buy it for permanent use.

This is a very good pop-up canopy tent for any event. I have owned a few tent and this one is by far the easiest to setup and fold for sure. I can setup the tent with a help from someone else in less than 10 minutes. You might be able to do it alone if you can find a way to somehow stabilize the frame while trying to expand it (this is the only steps which require 2 people to do it for me). The tent is 10×10 ft but the leg is angled so the coverage area is a tiny bit smaller.
It comes with a handy storage bag for easy transportation.The overall construction is pretty solid and it’s only 5 feet long when folded inside the storage bag. I have no problem fitting it in my trunk.

Purchased this after shamelessly borrowing my buddy’s tailgate tent on-and-off for over a year. My primary use is for HPDE track days where a bit of shade is welcomed where track and paddock temps can be over 10F hotter than air temperature, but we also plan to use this for beach and “glamping.”

In my experience, pop-up tents such as this can be very unstable and subject to getting bent and destroyed by wind; not this one though. The tent seems very sturdy, provides quite a bit of shade, and is easily packed and unpacked. Two of us set it up in <10 minutes and that was first time set up, which included removing wrapping and protective bubble wrap. Break-down was similarly quick and easy and with two people, we were easily able to get it back in its carrying case.
The tent is large enough to fit the majority of my vehicle under it with room to spare on either side. This past weekend the wind was pretty subdued so it hasn't really been put to the test in that regard, but I'm confident with stakes or weights on the legs, it'll endure some gusts.

I’ve used this canopy several times and so far I’m pretty impressed. After reading reviews about the lack of stability it has in windy conditions, i opted out of using it at the beach, but at the park and even on my deck has been perfect! It took two people to assemble (my 10 year old daughter and myself), and only took less than 10 minutes. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a budget friendly shade option.

This tent is amazing. My husband and I had a huge BBQ bash with a ton of our friends and it was sturdy and shielded us from the hot sun. Towards the end of the night, it started to rain and still, we continued to hang outside under the canopy tent. No one got wet at all. It was great.
After everyone left at 11pm, we cleaned everything up and went inside, but kept the tent up because it started to pour. It remained standing and sturdy. Around midnight, it started to really rain super hard, and a tree fell on it and brought it down!!

Last year I scrambled to find and buy a canopy the day before an outdoor multi-day music festival as I won tickets last minute, and ended up purchasing the cheapest one from walmart. I just bought tickets to return again this year, and bought this canopy to be prepared as last year it rained and our tent didn’t fit under 1 canopy along with a hangout area with all our supplies. The pros of this canopy are that it is sturdy, and seems like it will last for multiple years to come. I also like that it blocks out sunlight well, so you feel cooler underneath it. This is especially important for music festivals in the summer time without AC. It is also definitely water-proof, and more importantly dries fast which is important when having to pack it up regardless after the festival. It is easy and fast to assemble and pack up with the canopy still on the frame. I also love that the carrying case has wheels. It weighs about 20 lbs, but it feels heavier and this way it’s easy to transport from my car across a field. My only con is that I would have also liked a choice in colors, but this definitely stands out among a crowd of canopies in the camping grounds at a music festival.

The canopy took about 10minutes to set up with a help from my son. I’m sure you can set it up by yourself but makes it easier with a person pulling the opposite side when getting the frame open. Only downside I would say is the frame is pretty heavy. This canopy is on the heavy end even for me. Got it for the beach but it would be hard to carry it or drag it in the sand so probably will use it for picnic or more backyard outing.

My husband was so excited when this showed up. He broke our old one after working all day on our car, and not paying attention while putting it down. Our old one, a different brand, was really heavy and he was a bit nervous this would be one of those that broke the first time, instead of after 8 years of weekly use like our last one. He is much more confident now that this will hold up over time. The good – pretty standard, and yet large size. We use this in the spring, summer and fall for BBQ, outdoor days, and my husband uses this next to our south facing garage when he is working on cars, and he needs something that is heavy enough to keep the sun out and keep him cool. The fabric seems to be quite heavy. He popped this up the second it came, which was LIGHTNING fast – it came overnight, and I was thrilled. Definitely get the big bags that go around the legs to hold it down, and you won’t have any issues. In CO we get some big wind gusts, and we find those to be critical for not having your canopy end up as your neighbors’, but all in all this is absolutely awesome, and we love it!!!!
